Ross Bernstein

Ross Bernstein is the bestselling author of 40 sports books including The Code and I Love Brett Favre/I Hate Brett Favre. He has appeared on more than 1,000 local and national television and radio programs. His work has been featured on CNN and ESPN and in USA Today and the Wall Street Journal. 

Ross is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and lives in Apple Valley (MN) with his wife of 25 years and his 17-year-old daughter.

Ross will present "Wearing the Sea: How to Be a Good Leader in Your Organization."


Christian Shafer

Wednesday, July 24

Christian Shafer is a shareholder of Ratwik, Roszak & Maloney. He advises school districts, charter schools, education districts, and municipal clients in all areas of school law, special education law, employment matters, municipal law, and labor law.

He has successfully represented clients in State and federal courts, special education due process hearings, administrative proceedings conducted by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Office of Civil Rights, Minnesota Department of Human Rights, and state departments of education, as well as grievance and discharge arbitrations. Christian has also served as an investigator for school districts, charter schools, counties, and the State of Minnesota.
